Revial
Getting started

Starting an online meeting from the home page

Bring Revial into a remote meeting manually when there is no calendar invite.

Revial usually joins remote meetings automatically, based on the calendar invite. When a meeting isn't in your calendar, or it's arranged at short notice, you can bring Revial in by hand instead.

When to join manually

Manual joining is for cases where:

  • the meeting was never added to a calendar
  • it was agreed at short notice
  • the calendar invite is missing
  • automatic joining isn't available

Paste the meeting link into the field provided. Revial supports:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Google Meet
  • Zoom

To be sure you have the right link, join the meeting yourself and copy the URL straight from your browser's address bar.

Choose the meeting settings

Once the link is in, fill in the details for the meeting:

  • the playbook to use
  • the customer or company name
  • the meeting type

You can also mark the meeting as internal if it is one. When everything is set, select Join.

Wait for Revial to join

Revial normally needs a few minutes. The bot usually appears in the meeting within about 2–3 minutes.

If it hasn't joined after roughly five minutes, check the meeting link first. If the problem persists, contact Revial support.

Once Revial is in the meeting, everything proceeds as normal. Afterwards you get the same summary, analysis and materials as any meeting started automatically from the calendar.
