Revial
Getting started

Profile settings and first-time setup

Connect your calendar and email, set up meeting automation, and get Revial working in your day-to-day.

Start by making sure your profile settings are right. A few minutes of setup is enough for Revial to work as part of your daily routine.

1. Connect your calendar

Revial identifies customer meetings from your calendar. Connecting it takes a few clicks:

  • Open Settings → Profile
  • Select Connect your calendar
  • Choose Google or Outlook
  • Sign in and approve the permissions requested

2. Set up meeting automation

Decide how Revial behaves before meetings. You can:

  • have preparation material emailed to you before a meeting
  • choose how far in advance it arrives
  • set a default playbook for Revial to prepare with

Everything you need is then in one place just before the customer conversation.

3. Filter out internal meetings

Not every calendar entry needs the same treatment. You can tell Revial:

  • your organisation's email domains
  • internal email addresses
  • meeting titles to exclude from automation

For example, all @company.fi addresses can be treated as internal, and weekly team meetings excluded by adding Weekly to the filter. Revial then only joins the meetings where it is actually useful.

4. Connect your email

You can give Revial read access to your email so it can pull the customer's message history automatically before a meeting. Preparation material then also includes:

  • previous email conversations
  • the customer's most recent messages
  • other relevant history

You don't have to go looking through several systems.

5. Organisation invitations

If you have been invited to an organisation, the invitation is under Settings → Profile → Invitations. Accept or decline it there.

6. Security

In security settings you can:

  • change your password
  • turn on two-factor authentication

Some organisations require two-factor authentication, in which case it cannot be switched off. Revial supports the common authenticator apps, including Microsoft Authenticator.

7. Profile basics

Update your own contact details here. Keeping them current helps both your team and Revial identify the people in your organisation correctly.
