Connecting your Outlook calendar

Read-only calendar access, connected in about 30 seconds — plus the one-off admin approval your IT department may need to grant.

This is read-only calendar access. Revial can only see your meeting times and titles — it cannot edit, delete or add anything to your calendar. Setup takes less than 2 minutes.

Why connect your calendar?

Once your calendar is connected, Revial can automatically:

  • prepare meeting materials for upcoming client meetings
  • join meetings by knocking — no manual meeting entry required
  • save you time — no manual work

Without connecting your calendar you miss one of Revial's most important benefits: automation.

Part 1 — Connect your calendar

About 30 seconds.

  1. Log in to Revial
  2. Go to Settings → Profile → Calendar
  3. Select Connect Outlook Calendar
  4. Accept

If you see a "Need admin approval" message, your organisation's IT administrator must approve the Revial app first. Send them Part 2 of this page — approval only needs to be done once, after which everyone can connect.

Part 2 — For the IT administrator

About 2 minutes. This only needs to be done once — after that, all organisation users can connect on their own.

What does Revial request?

Revial requests only calendar read access.

Approval steps

  1. Log in to the Microsoft Entra admin center. Open entra.microsoft.com with a Global Administrator or Application Administrator account.
  2. Navigate to consent requests. Enterprise applications → Admin consent requests.
  3. Find the Revial app in the list. It appears once the first user has attempted to connect.
  4. Select Revial → Permissions.
  5. Click Grant admin consent and confirm.

Done. After this, all organisation users can connect their calendars on their own without separate approval.

Frequently asked questions

Is this secure? Yes. Revial only requests calendar read access. Revial is GDPR-compliant and data is stored on EU servers.

Does each user need to request separately? No. Admin approval is done once, and after that all organisation members can connect on their own.

Can I revoke access later? Yes. The admin can remove the Revial app from Microsoft Entra at any time.

What if our IT department is in another country? Send Part 2 of this page directly to the IT administrator by email. The approval is quick enough that it does not need a separate meeting.
