Custom extraction fields
Define your own data model and let Revial fill it from every customer conversation.
Custom fields mean you are not limited to the CRM fields or reports that come as standard. You can build the data model your organisation actually needs and have Revial fill it automatically from every customer conversation. Sellers concentrate on the conversation while good customer data accumulates behind them, systematically and consistently.
You can ask Revial to identify things like:
- decision-makers
- the customer's goals
- competitors
- areas of interest
- products or services
- next steps
- the stage of the sales process
- anything else your organisation cares about
The result can stay in Revial or move into the CRM automatically.
Create a custom field
Creating a field means setting:
- the field name
- the field type
- the extraction instruction given to the AI
Field types include text, number, yes/no, date, single select and multi select. Choose the type based on the kind of information you want to collect.
Give the AI a clear instruction
Each field carries an extraction instruction, which Revial applies to the meeting transcript. For a decision-maker, for instance:
"Infer the customer's decision-maker's job title from the meeting content. If the title is not mentioned, do not guess or invent an answer."
Clear instructions help the AI identify the right information reliably. You can write them in several languages, but English generally produces the most accurate results.
Always tell the AI what to do when the information isn't there. An instruction that doesn't say "do not guess" will get you a guess.
Required fields
A field can be marked required. Revial then tries to answer it for every meeting. If the information isn't in the conversation, the system returns an empty value or a "no" depending on the field type.
Example: did the seller ask how the customer was doing?
Custom fields can also analyse the quality of the sales conversation itself. You might create a yes/no field to identify whether the seller asked after the customer at the start of the call. That lets you track how consistently the team follows the approach you want, without anyone reviewing conversations by hand.
Push the data straight to the CRM
Custom fields pay off most when what they collect flows automatically into other systems. The CRM can receive:
- the customer's decision-maker
- the most interesting product group
- the customer's main challenges
- competitors
- the buying timeline
- anything else that matters to your organisation
