The coaching analysis view

Turn every meeting into a learning experience — an overall score, speech metrics, strengths and things to work on.

Coaching analysis exists to make every meeting a learning experience. Reviewing the feedback regularly lets a seller recognise their own strengths, develop systematically, and build better customer conversations.

You'll find it on the meeting's Coaching analysis tab.

Overall score

Coaching analysis gives the meeting an overall score from 1 to 10, based on analysis of the whole conversation against your organisation's playbook. Its purpose is to help you track your own development over time.

Speech analysis

Revial analyses the meeting's speech data and collects the key conversation metrics:

  • the length of the meeting
  • average speaking pace
  • the number of turns taken
  • the number of questions asked
  • how speaking time split between seller and customer

Speaking time helps you judge the balance of the conversation. In the best sales conversations, the customer gets to describe their situation as fully as possible, so the seller can build a solution around real needs.

Feedback by area

Coaching analysis assesses the meeting across several areas of selling, such as:

  • discovering needs
  • handling objections
  • building trust
  • advancing the deal
  • agreeing next steps

Each area gets feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Check the reasoning

For every observation you can open the point in the meeting the analysis is based on. That lets you check the original conversation and see why Revial drew that conclusion.

Recognise strengths

Coaching analysis highlights what went well, identifying where the seller:

  • built good rapport
  • asked effective questions
  • handled objections well
  • moved the conversation forward naturally

Approaches that worked can then be recognised and repeated in future meetings.

Areas to develop

The analysis also identifies where the conversation could have gone further — questions that went unasked, topics worth going deeper on, opportunities to clarify the customer's needs, and moments where next steps could have been agreed more clearly.

These observations are based on both the meeting content and your organisation's playbook.
